Night Veil An Indigo Court Novel Yasmine Galenorn Books

Continuing the story started in Book 1 (you really should start with it), Cicely and her allies, including the Queen of Summer and the shaky alliance with the Crimson Court vampires, continue their fight against the Shadow Hunters, Myst, her Indigo Court and her minions. Grieve is still in the Court's power, and Cicely longs to rescue him. First, she and her allies must stay alive! There are betrayals, shifting alliances, unexpected discoveries and violence as the war progresses. The Moon Spinners are officially organized, replacing the defunct Thirteen Moons Society. They are recognized officially and will become part of the Consortium. If it's been a while since you read Night Myst, the Character List at the end of the book is helpful. Also, of you want to continue the series, there are handy links. Book 3 continues where book 2 ends, and it was impossible for me to stop.

Night Veil An Indigo Court Novel Yasmine Galenorn Books Reviews

I liked the book alot it keep my interest from Chapter one until the end. This book showed me a different side of the fairies, how they live who is in charge and how the main character fits into this culture.
This is a continuing series and to be fair I gave this one a shot to see if the writing had improved. Well, it has! The characters are much more developed and believable and this made for good reading. In a side note, whomever was updating this on stated that book three was something completely different and it even lead to a book by a different male author! I reported this to and they assured me today they were passing on the info so it would be updated. I am looking forward to the next book with anticipation. I will read Courting Darkness until then to tide me over! I firmly believe this will become an excellent series the further it goes along!
love this series
Night Veil is the second book in the Indigo Court Series. Night Veil follows Cicely Waters and friends as they continue to struggle against the Indigo Court and Myst, the Queen of the Indigo Court. This story delves further in to the war with the Vampires and Vampiric Fae. Cicley learns quickly that everyone has an agenda with plans for her she doesn't know about.

Cicley's memories show her history in New Forest and shed light on her and Grieve's relationship. This book also open up to why Myst is so focused on destroying Cicely. I limited on the details I can give without spoilers, but I will say this is a must read for the series. I know a lot of people where disappointed in the first book,Night Myst, don't give up yet. I really enjoyed this and will definitely read the next one.

If you are looking for a new series with good, evil, myth and mystery this is the series for you!
Awesome read. This story kept me engaged and entertained.
I enjoyed this book as an escape and a quick, easy read, but by the end, I was very tired of hearing about the heroine's allergy to fish. I have read all the books in this series and to date, there is no reason for the constant focus on this topic. The heroine is strong, magical and fully capable of killing and maiming, but each time she eats, she has to ask if any type of fish has been consumed, served or prepared in the general vicinity? I don't know if the author is trying to make a point, but it seems to take the reader completely out of the story line.
I strongly suggest you read the previous books in the series (Night Myst) prior to reading this installment.

This was a fantastic follow-up sequel that was even better than the first book. This story had a creepy and frightening vibe to it; especially the creatures who hunt and prowl the dark forest/woods preying upon the magic-born, fellow-immortals and humanity.

The author created a well-plotted storyline of a bloodthirsty and cannibalistic empire, slowly but surely raising into power, wielding their dark and frightening dominance over earth in a reign of bloody-terror of biblical proportions. Cicely is metamorphosing into a deadly solider who embraces her power and is unafraid of her transformation.

I enjoyed this installment and was transfixed to this brilliant story; which moved quickly and smoothly. There was plenty of action and violence and very little sex.

I judge most books on pure entertainment factor and this book completely entranced me and left me wanting more! I can't wait for the next book Night Seeker due out 7/3/12 and I highly recommend this book to fellow dark urban fantasy readers.

I also recommend
Black Wings (Black Wings, Book 1)
Grave Witch (Alex Craft, Book 1)
Dead, Undead, or Somewhere in Between
Blood Song
Deadtown (A Deadtown Novel)
